Nice sized place. Different little warehouses with mostly lumber. They have other building materials but I was just there to deliver a load of lumber. All the employees there were super nice. Even helped me fold one of my tarps. Extra, extra clean men's room. Call them if your in need of lumber or building supplies.

No follow up with customers. We went to Curtis in Ballston Spa twice to inquire about a special order for a pull-down ladder. After two visits, and being assured we would be contacted, we NEVER received any follow up of any kind. It's so insulting to be lied to and ignored. WHY? I think it's important to support local businesses and I would advise you to support people who want to support you.

Terrible experience from start to finish. I've been there multiple times but they wasted about an hour of my time for picking up a simple hollow core door. Miscommunication and a big hassle over a small product. I'd recommend anywhere else.

6/23/24 - I relocated back home over a year ago and after calling to ensure we did not have to make an appointment, we made the 2 hour drive with our new office/garage plans. Our intent was to sit down with a project resource and order windows, doors and siding. After arriving we were guided to the appropriate area where a project resource kind of greeted us and pointed at a table where we began to roll out our plans and attempted to tell him what we were needing. The CL employee wasn't even listening, nor did he sit down. He kept talking over us saying we needed a "window detail sheet with exact measurements". I showed him the measurements were on the plans but again, he was basically walking away at that point. I also tried to redirect to siding and doors but he was very rude and dismissive. We were able to get an appointment with ABC Supply in Queensbury who are tremendously helpful and kind and appreciate the $50k in materials needed for our building.

Went in to get pricing for a deck we want to build. Waited for 40 minutes for anyone to approach us. Even with several associates right there and another associate continually talking with an older lady about personal stuff and nothing to do with decks. Then when someone finally talked with us it seemed like we were a major inconvenience and they were all about having an appointment which we didn't realize we had to have an appointment just to talk to someone about pricing out the materials for the deck. We were basically shown the door. I think I will be taking my business elsewhere and not setting foot back in a Curtis Lumber.
