A well deserved 5 stars for the exemplary service of Ms Charlene McLean Corbin in 1199 SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds.She was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining the benefits and options my husband has to make with regards to his early retirement. She guided us through completion of all the requirements.Only in a day we were able to fill up all the papers and submit the documents needed. She has the patience and dedication to help the members. You feel her warmth and willingness to help with her actuations.We will never forget how she made it so easy for us and she lifted the burden on our shoulders after we encountered her.
On our return visit same can be said with Mr Marvin Smith. He is friendly and approachable and does his job well.
The greeters and reception team from entrance to the floors are so courteous and helpful.
What a great team we were very lucky to meet on our visits to 1199 SEIU main office. The Union where we are proud to be members.
Our heartfelt gratitude. More power 1199 SEIU.

Muy triste, vine a este bello lugar a checar un crédito para quw me ayudarán con el financiamiento de mi auto y por algún detalle con el titulo del carro, no me lo dieron. Me dijeron que primero tendría que arreglar el título. Cuando finalmente arreglé el título les llamé y me dijeron que mi aplicación ya había vencido y tendría que volver a depositarles dinero para checar mi crédito.
Tanto trabajo que uno hace y pierde tiempo y dinero, para que te digan oh BTW, tienes que volver a arruinar tu crédito para ver si podemos ayudarte en esta ocasión. Muy mal servicio. Nunca había estado tan decepcionada de la atención al cliente. 🙁

I LOVE 1199!!! They took care of my 3 girls with different ages being 6, 8, and 10 at the time. With then going to sleep away camp alleviated the pressure on my husband and me taking care of the bills. My 1st and 2nd children is now 36 and 38 years old and the eldest is 40 years old. THANK YOU 1199‼️

Never again do I keep my money here. They called me only once to tell me they would give my money to the State because it was a dormant account. This account was a nest egg that I was saving so I hadn't withdrawn in a while, but I was checking my account regularly online. I was shocked, and told them not to transfer my money to the State but they did it anyways. Then, when I asked for help to get my money back they just told me there was nothing they could do!

Phone clerk rude as in sarcastic, as if your bothering them if you have a question, that was their first mistake, second puts you on hold purposely if they don’t like your questions. Resolve nothing for me, but give me high blood pressure, and mine you I have direct deposit with them and they charge YOU to take your money out. And please be aware, any loan you apply with them will only be base on your credit score and they charge 10 dollars for your credit report, no matter how many years you been with the union. I’m on my way day-off to close my 2 year account with this horrible service & treatment. I recommend you don’t do it.

They do not have cash. So if you need cash out of your account right away you are SOL. God forbid you have an emergency. You have to go to one of their affiliate. I asked the teller who don't know anything and he told me the nearest one is Bethpage, LI. I live in NJ -- for real -- to get my own money? I asked the supervisor about that, she told me to check the website. Customer service is non-existent. I cannot tell you how atrocious my experience was. I am thinking of closing this account.
