I have been staying here yearly when I have to travel for work. The management here has only gotten worse over time. The bistro is required to be open 7 days a week breakfast and dinner and every single weekend the bistro is closed for dinner. I have never seen them open on a weekend and it’s very stressful not being able to have dinner at a hotel that I pay to have food included. Very discouraging and I hope someone can finally make a change to that. When the bistro is open at night they have one specific person who runs it and she is not always friendly and inviting. I hate to feel as if I’m walking on eggshells around employees who act like they hate their job.
These people need to be paid more. And they need to be open when the Marriott standards expect them to be.

Room had a very unpleasant odor and a sticky substance on the floor when we entered. Front desk agent refused to change our rooms. Not the best environment for my wife and toddler. Normally I am Marriott all the way but if you are staying in the area check out the Hilton right up the road before staying here.

I am surprised by how negative the three most recent reviews are, as my experience was much more pleasant. The front staff was attentive - it appeared as though they were onboarding a new staff member, but they were always supported by a more experienced staff member; the rooms and hallways were clean and well-cared for; and the lobby was in good shape. There were certainly elements of the room, the bathrooms, and the hotel that felt in need of a refresh - and (as I understand it) that is taking place now, as the hotel is going over a floor by floor renovation.||Unbeknownst to me, I believe the 4th and 5th floors were being renovated, as I stayed on one of the first three floors - but there was never any signs of that between the 9pm and the 8am window that I was present.||All in all, I have found - and continue to find - this hotel to be a great launching point to the wonderful town of Saratoga Springs. It is definitely walkable to downtown - though maybe on the far end of what some would consider walkable - and I look forward to staying there again and seeing the improvements upon their completion.

Rooms are a good size. Housekeeping excellent - our room was very clean. Bathroom also a good size with a good shower. Limited wardrobe space but ok for a couple of days. Room in good decorative order but the decor is dated.||||Negative is the very dated in-room AC/heating which is noisy. Would be no good for a light sleeper.||||Will try another hotel if I am in this area again.

We had 2 rooms and both rooms had the same issue with the smoke alarm. It was like a strobe light on the wall that flashed every 30 seconds.

A really nice hotel in a great location for the centre of Saratoga. The hotel was being done up when we stayed, so I think it will improve even further as it goes on!||We enjoyed our stay and our room and the hotel has lots of facilities, like a pool, café and restaurant.

The hotel is clean and offers spacious rooms (we had a double queen beds). The place is well maintained and the service team is very nice and helpful! The only downside is that the pool is very small and that we couldn't enjoy the hot tub was out of service. It is a short drive from downtown (need to walk or take a taxi to enjoy nightlife) but in a quiet area so overall we had a very nice stay!

This hotel is under major construction.
-All this week no water from 9-5pm.
-Construction starts at 7 AM
And is non stop hammering and drilling!
-The elevator is not available when Contruction is starting their day.
-No hot food meaning breakfast
- Had no heat in my room
- Can't call the front desk, the phone doesn't work in the newly renovated suite

The kicker is I put up with all this ALL week and asked for a late check out 1 day because of the snow storm, and got an attitude from the desk. After all this, all week. I cancelled next weeks reservation already!

P.s. the ladies on the night shift are lovely and sweet!
